Ever since 2017, buoyed up by a variety of life experiences, I have been using oil painting as a way of expressing my inner impulses and intuitions, as well as the visions and images that come through me in connection with my path of personal and spiritual development. Oils are for me a meditative medium, allowing me to take my time and to go back and add successive layers during contemplation. I have produced very few works, as I only paint when my mind is completely open, aligned, and receptive.

Born in 1980 in Lausanne, Switzerland, I set out on my artistic journey during the solitude of childhood, when I used to draw and paint to pass the time, and it has become the main interest in my life. I first studied in the field of social work, for that answered my need for connection and for a profession that held meaning for me because it is concerned with others. I missed art, however, and felt an ever stronger need to create. My path took me to Geneva, where I entered l’École de Décors de Théâtre (school for theatre sets) and spent a year of pure happiness learning to draw and paint with more depth, and also to make large sized works, using old methods not often taught today. I now had training that enabled me to teach basic courses in drawing, perspective, and portraits. I felt again the need to be useful to others, however, and so enrolled in a school of art therapy and afterwards enjoyed practising this profession for fourteen years. Art therapy combines my love for Art and my desire to care for others. The logical follow-up to that was a desire to extend the virtues of Art so as to be beneficial to the whole world! For this reason I became an independent artist and then got the impulse to co-create the Re-Visionary Art Collective.

Artistic approach

Art is a sacred function in humans. Since the beginning of time people have used it to express what they sense about the invisible world, about their subtle impressions, about things for which we have no words. Art is also a means of imprinting a very high vibratory energy on matter and transmitting it to others. I identify with this lineage of artists who, throughout history, have been inspiring one another. Pictorial language may change over time, but our Source is the same.

I like to draw and paint in the intimacy of Silence that is softened by the odour of incense. First I become centred and quiet. I meditate so as to connect with the Spiritual World, with Nature, with Mother Earth, in order that these may give rightness to the inspiration and the message to be transmitted, the right strength of line and brush-stroke, and an inner state of mind that will be manifested in the painting. I want my pictures to be mediums that make the world more beautiful and touch the soul of viewers in ways that make them become better. When used for Beauty and Harmony, art is a tool for raising human consciousness. May it always be used in this way.
