BIOGRAPHY
As a child, I used to model clay animals, dance, and smile at life. As an adult, I left artistic expression aside and worked with some very wonderful people who led me to develop myself and become a specialist in Sexual Health. After I came back from Quebec, I wanted to offer my own activities, expand the definition of sexuality to include the idea of intimacy, and design an approach that would be conducive to revealing it.
At the same time, I returned to activities with clay and to the path of my body through various practices in the area of somatic health. These gave me the experience of immersing in my body and there exploring my physical sensations, my imagination, my thoughts and feelings, and my spontaneous expressions of creativity.
It took several years, several lovely encounters, numerous travels and a lot of Love before the artist in me was born and I felt completely at home.
Gradually over the years, art, counseling and teaching cease to be separate paths and blend into one and the same approach. From this blending are born the LUNA light sculptures, the Fille de la Lune box set, and also places for dialogue between the body, creativity, and Life.
Sphèreintime (a coined term with “intimate sphere” in one word) was born in a vision that showed me how when we unfold our inner world, we radiate, and co-create in something very alive and sensitive and deeply human.
Nowadays I create works, objects, and sensory experiences that invite each of us to reconnect with our inner world, to cultivate wonder, and to be fully present in our life.
Artistic approach
My artistic approach is rooted in the body’s sensations and is nourished by various somatic practices, by silence, by movement, by the outdoors, and by that subtle listening where sensations, imagination, emotions, and matter come together.
My universe is colourful, joyful, poetical, flowery, sensual, and sometimes magical. It reveals itself in a living flow, where each breath opens up a new perception, a nuance of colour, a texture or a shape. Everything becomes a source of inspiration.
With my LUNA light sculptures, the writing of Fille de la Lune, and the bodily experiences that I offer, what I’m trying to create are spaces conducive to a meeting with oneself. Matter, light, words and movement then all become complementary languages inviting us to reconnect with Life, to be more present in our bodies, and to allow our personal creativity to emerge.
For me creating is a way of honouring Life and cultivating a sense of wonder where each work becomes an invitation to let shine that light in each of us that is gently seeking to sparkle.
