BIOGRAPHY

I was born in the Broye region of Vaud canton, Switzerland, and spent the first years of my life between a family of restaurant keepers, school, and my sisters and friends, with lots of time for playing outdoors, playing store, observing, and getting my hands dirty.

Nature has always been an important part of my life and I love watching, listening to, contemplating, and feeling life outdoors. As a little girl I used to love holidaying on my grandparents’ farm, a magic place of a simplicity such as we no longer find. I realize now how precious those times were and how they filled my heart with a lasting sense of magic.

All my life, surrounded by nature and colours, I’ve enjoyed colouring, knitting, and creating things out of various materials. Following an apprenticeship that I didn’t like, I began a life of seasonal activity, working a lot in winter and travelling for the rest of the year. These were rich and intense years and my experiences and the people I met left me full of all sorts of colours and shapes. Being always on the move made it difficult to find time to create, however, and I began to feel a lack, a need to express myself in new ways.

From 2016 onward, having put my wanderer’s life aside, I have given more time to creating, in particular through intuitive painting that comes from listening to my feelings. Discovering this way of painting felt like a revelation that my heart had been waiting for for a long time. It was the beginning of an encounter with myself.

Painting intuitively gives one space. Colours and clear-senses coming from my heart allowed the invisible to become visible. This is a gateway to new worlds that can now be manifested.

These days, while looking for a studio, I’m getting ready to share this way of painting in various courses and workshops.

Artistic approach

My art opens up a space between two worlds, where colours aspire to meet. I paint in oils and my home base is Lausanne. I am at all times attracted by aesthetics and enjoy working with a variety of textures and colours. The numerous journeys that have enriched my life as a wandering artist are the source of my inspiration.

Being self-taught, I take inspiration from the shapes and colours that brighten my canvases with the flavours of other worlds. The way of painting that I discovered in 2016 has transformed my life. Painting by feeling or intuitive paining enables me, through colour and hand movements, to get into action and come in touch with the innate expression of my creative potential.
