BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in Croatia, I had the good fortune of contact with wilderness ever since my birth. The great outdoors was part of my daily life. My long apprenticeship in observing animals, birds and insects, and in gathering mushrooms, started at age four. At that time I was far from imagining that all this learning would lead me to become a nature photographer and immortalize so much of the beauty that surrounds us.
I’ve lived in Switzerland for twenty years now and recently settled in a little piece of heaven in the Vallée de Joux.
Self-taught, passionate and fascinated, I’ve perfected my art as a photographer over the past fourteen years, ever bringing my poetic eye to my fantastic natural surroundings.
In recent years I’ve had the pleasure of presenting my work to the public in several exhibitions: ‘La Solitude’ in 2017; ‘Au Fil des Rêves et Sérénité’ (through dreams and serenity) in 2020; ‘L’Espoir’ (Hope) in 2021; ‘La Paix’ (Peace) in 2022; ‘L’Eau de-là’ (The Beyond or Water from over there) in 2022; and ‘La Vallée’ in 2023. From these exhibitions came my first book, “Journal intime: Une journée au gré des saisons” (A Diary: One Day through the Seasons), participation in the 20th Salamandre Festival and in the 3rd Fina Haut-Jura Festival, and an article in Nat’Image magazine.
