Atelier Créa Sphère
Born in Valais canton in 1981, I grew up with sunshine, mountains, and a wide valley, spending a lot of my time in my youth enjoying the smells, colours, and power of the trees in the forest. When the weather kept me indoors, I took refuge in drawing. At age seven I received my first box of paints and have been painting ever since. As a teenager I started exploring this medium seriously, testing all sorts of textures and surfaces in my bedroom. In 2006 I had my first lessons, a brief but precious year of training in faux wood, faux marble, and trompe-l’oeil painting.
Then life caught up with me. Overly preoccupied with ‘doing’, I had become disconnected from ‘being’, from who I was.
In 2014, after fifteen years of serving others, professionally, several events converged to turn my life upside down and I realized I had lost my way in a lifestyle that no longer suited me. It was crucial for me to go back to the essentials and remind myself who I am. Through kinesiology, hypnosis, and various support programmes and training courses, I gradually found and realigned myself, took back my personal power, and rediscovered my intuitive faculties and my connection with the subtle realm, and so painting naturally returned to its central position in my life.
In 2018, two years after the birth of my second daughter, two things happened. I began training as a relationship coach and mandalas entered my life. Both these elements were instrumental in finding myself and have continued to nourish my personal growth by helping me know myself and go forward with greater clarity. The mandala, as a symbol of the Great All and of Oneness, became the natural reflection of this re-centreing.
Two years later, sacred geometry came into my life. In order to use this method, I needed to understand the technique and its origin better, and so searched and found a teacher offering several different modules of instruction in this age-old and elitist art form. I find it so meaningful that I immediately become enthusiastic and want to learn more and more.
Sacred geometry and mandalas each bring their own benefits. Unable to choose between the two, I often combine them, as they naturally complete each other.
Artistic approach
Being in love with painting since early childhood, my pleasure is to perceive colours through their textures and energies. When contemplating a work of art, I like to feel what it gives off and admire its technique.
Creativity has always been at the centre of my life and is expressed in various ways, often directed towards ‘doing’, in my daily life as a mother, in my work for an agency doing digital design, or in my role as a caregiver. I regularly need a more tangible and sensitory form of creation, however, in order to centre myself. It’s in working with tactile material that I get back to my essence, my presence, and a true inner peace. I explore various techniques, such as acrylic, watercolour, Posca, and pastels, and various materials, including canvas, paper, cardboard, wood, stone, and glass. I have also created a few murals.
My wish is for my works to give off light and beautiful energy. The process varies. Sometimes I just let my ideas and desires come and, when requested, connect to the person in order to show what they are and what they need in order to go forward on their path. This process emerged alongside my own personal development.
In my workshops, I enjoy making creativity available to everyone. It is also important to me to spread understanding of mandalas and sacred geometry so that these wonderful tools for growth might benefit each and every one of us.
